When the tennis season started, the new team was developed. 1st single-Juber, 2nd single-MD, 3rd single-Jaber, 1st Doubles-Prabhdeep and I, 2nd Doubles-Bivob and Zeeshan. Well, the reason we put Juber in first single was because we definitely knew that we will lost most of the matches in first single but when it comes to other matches, we could win easily=D. So basically, that was our plan. Even though I played single, I had no harsh feelings on them anymore.
PLAYED TENNIS FOR THE LAST TIME. LAST YEAR IN NEW YORK~
I played everything what I got because that year was my last year in NY. The last year I needed to put all my strength to get that Division Champion Trophy. The matches arrived and we played a lot of matches. There was mistake my partner and I did. We lost one match because my partner was sick. Even though he was sick, I didn’t play seriously because for sure we would lost. The way my partner hits weren’t his proper way. He hit the ball in an unusual way. I felt hopeless and didn’t know what to do. When they caught up to our score and started leading us, I felt that we couldn’t lose. We must win for sure. Our undefeated title must not be taken away. My friend was sick and I did the work. It was a match 2 against 1. Well, in the end, we lost. 11-9. Our tennis team won but my match, we lost=[ I learned a good lesson that do not underestimate my enemies and also never give up even though I had a hard problem in the match. Every match always have a weakness. A weakness that we could overcome=D.
SEMI-FINALS!!!
Well, we played and played. Finally we reached to the Semi-Finals!! Bloody hell, we were happy and shocked that we won in the Semi-Final. Owh yeah, we played our semi-final match in USTA (United States Tennis Association), located at Fresh Meadow Park, Flushing. Just take the 7 train and it would lead you to the baseball stadium lol. This place was the place where the US Open being held once in a while. Thats why.

FINALS, HERE WE COME!!
Well, as you may know, all of them weren’t American citizens. They will be, in the future. All of them were immigrants who were willing to study in NY. I think my coach is an American citizen. I think so. IDK lol. Anyway, we won and felt happy. The final would be held on Friday lol. Our semi-final match was held on Wednesday. On the same week, our final match was on Friday. Wa lao, I thought next week so that we could practiced a lil more but no, it didn’t happen=[.
TENNIS MEETING BEFORE THE FINAL MATCH START
THE TEAM LOST BECAUSE OF ME DUE TO MY SICKNESS WITHIN ME~
Well, the day had arrived and this final match day was the worst day I ever had in my entire life. My body temperature increased like hell! I felt cold even though the weather outside was freaking HOT! I bought chicken over rice that cost $5 and tried to finished it up but I couldn't. I didn't know what to do to overcome the sickness. I tried to drink a lot of water but still couldn't. I took a medicine already but it took a long time to heal my sickness=[. Wa lao, the weather was freaking hot and I was wearing my sweater with my scarf. People in the train felt weird because almost all of them wore normal shirts with shorts but for me, I wore a sweater, 3 shirts inside, a scarf, my tennis short inside my jeans. Wa lao, I was so freaking sick! What should I do? It happened on my final match day! I felt hopeless and didn't know what to do. The final match was the most important day. Not only the tennis team would come but also a few other Assistance Principals would come. I felt shocked when our school principal came to our match! OMG, I felt shock at the same time felt happy. Later, my friends came and a few of students from our school came to cheer us up. Well, my match started later. I got prepared and took my racket. My partner prepared himself and so did I. I prepared with my lousy sickness that walks around with me wherever I go during that time=[.

PLAYED MY FINAL MATCH WHILE IM SICK. DEFEATED DRAMATICALLY~
We played the match and we did our best in the first round. My partner and I were serious in the first round. We did everything what we have. Everything we learned and had within us. We showed our school spirit that we could win the match. Unfortunately, the first round was win by our enemy. We lost the 1st round by 7-6. The second round, we tried not to give up but my sickness became much worst. My temperature increased dramatically and I started to cough. I didn’t tell my partner about this. I kept to myself so that he wouldn’t worry about me. I was hoping him to focus on the match.
MY OPPONENT SAW MY SICKNESS. TARGETED ON ME TO WIN THE MATCH~
Well, the enemy saw how I felt and they started to hit all the balls towards me. Looks like they knew that I was sick. They hit everything and I was the one I have to counter their attacks. With my weak body, with my sickness, with my fever and temperature, it was useless to hit the ball very fast. I hit the ball outside, hit the net and all the easy balls, I hit everything outside. They earned a lot of points and were leading us very fast.
A HUGE CONFLICT OCCURRED BETWEEN ME AND MY TENNIS PARTNER
My partner felt annoyed and mad at me. He was pissed off the way I hit and the way I was giving out points to them. He told me to be serious but I tried. In the end, we lost badly=[. 6-3. I felt depressed and speechless. That final match, we lost because of me. It was my fault=[. My partner was so pissed off and asked me why I hit that way. He told me "Safwan, this isn't you. All your balls always went in. You play good defense and I play good offensive. Where is your defense? Where is your usual self?". I told him everything what I felt. I told him that I was sick.
MOODY AND RARELY MET DUE TO OUR PAST CONFLICT
He felt shocked, apologized and we didn't talk for 2 days lol after that final match. We only won 2nd single and 3rd single. We lost 1st single, 1st double and 2nd double. Which means, we lost to 2-3. We felt hopeless and well, our friends were there and they cheered us up. They said that we have next year. Yes, next year but I won't be there=[. Later on, we waited and received our medals. Our silver medals. We were in the 2nd place in Queens Division B. Wa lao, we took a picture for the last time on the Final match. Well, that day was the best day because I get to play with them for the last time=D.

After a few weeks, my name and my partner name were in the website. Wa lao, we felt happy and our rank in NY was number 8th. Well, thats ok for us. I tried to research a lil bit on my enemy's rank. My enemy during our final match. Wa lao, I felt shocked because they were ranked number 1! Huh? How? Wow. I still remembered. My opponent was a short guy who stayed at the back and was good in defensive and speed and the other one was a tall guy who stayed in the front of the net, awesome offensive and easy to smash all our balls easily. No wonder they were good and their combination were perfect=D. hahaha=D. Well, here is the pic=].

I was so sick and my mom helped me out. She gave me a few medicine and gave me a few advices to help me get better. Since the next day was Saturday and Sunday, no school at all, it was good for me to take a 2 days rest after my lost match=[.

When I went to school, I received the invitation about our last tennis party. When the tennis party arrived, I went and enjoyed with my friends. I ate a lot and drank a lot. Had a lot of fun with them. All of them. Took a lot of pics and well, that day was the last day for me to spend with them with happiness and joy. After that, I won't be with them anymore=[. In that party, I received my tennis certificate as MVP=D...Miss you guys and I will try to come back and make a reunion. Just for the tennis team=D.
